Job Description

Position

This interim role for Mid August- 1 February 2025 (maternity cover) is positioned within the EMEA HR Team and will report directly into the Human Resources Director EMEA. You will lead two direct reports. The EMEA HR Team supports employees in Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the UK.

Objective

As the Interim HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring the excellent employee experience throughout the entire employee journey. As the EMEA HR Team is relatively small, you will cover the full range of HR activities from advice on strategic topics to hands-on administrative tasks.

You will coach and support managers and team members throughout the HR cycle and advise on organizational changes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR expertise and timely information and/or advice for all levels of the company on HR issues, e.g. in the areas of performance and talent management, employee relations, learning & development and organizational development;
  • Participate in the continuous development of HR programs and processes for recruitment, retention, compensation & benefits, culture & engagement and learning & development;
  • Maintain and develop HR policies and procedures following best practice and compliance in line with current and local legislation and effectively meeting business needs;
  • Provide HR support to team members and managers in line with company policies, the applicable employment legislation, ensuring a consistent approach;
  • Overseeing HR reporting monthly and initiating improvements addressing findings;
  • Provide input for the HR strategy, annual plan and budget;
  • Support the Compensation & Benefits manager in the payroll process.

Qualifications

Required qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field, 8+ years of experience as an (Interim) HR Business Partner / (Project) Manager in a dynamic professional working environment, preferably in FMCG;
  • Proactive change agent: your business partner skills enable you to engage and consult with managers and staff to effectively manage (cultural) change;
  • Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas and a solid understanding of all processes supporting the entire employee journey.

  • Quickly up speed, getting the job done, flexible, entrepreneurial spirit;
  • Genuinely curious about people and business;
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent listening skills;
  • Strong communicator, able to adapt your communicating style to your audience without losing your authenticity;
  • Problem solving skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues;
  • Fluent in English (Dutch and/or German is beneficial).
