A Day in the Life

As an HR Controlling Expert, you will be a key player in ensuring the financial health and efficiency of HR operations. You will work closely with the local HR team and Finance to provide insightful data analysis, support strategic decision-making, and optimize HR costs. This role offers a unique blend of analytical skills and business partnership, allowing you to directly impact the success of HR initiatives.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: You will be responsible for the HR data analysis and explanation, including headcount, personnel costs, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to provide accurate and timely reports to stakeholders. You will identify trends, highlight potential risks and opportunities, and support data- driven decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: You will be responsible for the development and monitoring of HR budgets, collaborating with the Finance team to ensure alignment with company standards. You will forecast future HR costs and identify areas for potential cost optimization.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: You will lead the HR controlling function to perform regular reviews of actual versus budget performance, communicating results to business stakeholders. You will analyze HR and financial KPIs to identify areas for improvement and propose cost-optimization strategies.
  • Data Quality & Process Improvement: You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of HR data. You will identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency. You will also ensure that all processes, standards, reporting, and calendars are in accordance with company standards.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset and solid Finance knowledge, excellent communication skills and a strong leadership, and a collaborative spirit and an attitude to drive improvement. You are proficient in data analysis techniques and possess a deep understanding of HR processes and financial principles. The following skills are essential:

  • Data Analytics: Proficient in analyzing large datasets and extracting meaningful insights.
  • Predictive Analysis: Ability to use data to forecast future trends and make informed predictions.
  • Headcount & Employee Cost Management: Understanding of headcount planning and employee cost management principles.
  • Budget Management: Experience in developing, monitoring, and managing budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Business acumen and Finance Savvy: To act as a liaison, simplifying matters between HR and Finance. To be the reliable support for HR Director on financial matters.
