Summary and Role Information

Moving HR to the cloud is more than a technology shift—it’s a full-scale digital transformation reshaping HR’s core function and service delivery. As an HR Business Architect at SAP, you’ll play an essential role in bringing this transformation to life for our customers. You won’t just implement solutions; you’ll lead, influence, and guide companies in adopting best practices and harmonizing global HR processes to drive real, lasting change.

This role requires expertise not only in SAP SuccessFactors but also in WalkMe, a critical tool for supporting change management and enhancing user adoption. As part of our commitment to holistic process design, you’ll integrate WalkMe to ensure processes are intuitive, accessible, and widely adopted, maximizing the value customers gain from their HR transformation.

This position is ideal for experienced SAP SuccessFactors HCM and WalkMe consultants ready to step into a strategic business consulting role, building on their skills, deepening their strategic insight, and shaping the future of HR services by leading digital transformation efforts.

Expectations and Tasks

  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with HR leaders on consulting engagements to ensure that HR strategies and technology roadmaps are aligned with SAP SuccessFactors HCM solutions, WalkMe capabilities, and SAP’s innovation strategy.
  • Leading Practices and Benchmarking: Utilize SAP’s Leading practices and benchmarks for HR to help customers unlock new opportunities for their HR functions, with WalkMe enhancing the adoption and usability of the solutions.
  • Process Mapping & Documentation: Develop clear, comprehensive process maps and document essential requirements, embedding WalkMe as part of the user journey to guide, educate, and simplify user interactions. Recognize and leverage the synergy between intuitive process design and WalkMe’s in-app guidance capabilities. Use WalkMe to create user-friendly, efficient workflows that make it easy for employees to learn and adapt to new processes, ensuring faster adoption and a smooth transition.
  • Employee-Centric Design: Collaborate with HR teams to design processes that prioritize ease of use, with WalkMe providing interactive guidance and step-by-step assistance to enhance the employee experience.

Education and Qualifications

  • WalkMe and SAP SuccessFactors expertise: 3-5 years of SAP SuccessFactors and WalkMe implementation experience.
  • Professional Services Experience: Prior experience in a professional services setting is highly valued.
  • HR Knowledge: Strong grasp of HR principles, practices, and regulations to support designing and optimizing HR processes for large, global enterprises.
  • Consulting Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading workshops and guiding stakeholders, with the ability to drive the adoption and integration of new HR processes and technologies.
  • Exceptional Communication: Clear, impactful communication skills are essential for this role; you should be able to articulate complex ideas to a wide range of audiences and foster collaboration at all levels.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 134300 – 228300(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
