Simon Acres Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a forward thinking established company based in Yorkshire, to find a HR Business Partner.
Salary: paying up to £35,000 (potential to earn up to £2,000 bonus, pro rata)
Annual Leave: 32 Days incl. Bank Holidays & Christmas Shutdown
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.45am-5pm, Friday 8.45am-4pm
The Role:
- Linking people and organisational practices to competitive and commercial requirements
- Consulting effectively with category management and functions to ensure the review and development of organisational capability, identifying gaps, key people risks and recommending actions
- Contributing and translating goals into HR strategies, programmes, and interventions, ensuring HR actions and initiatives reinforce and deliver the strategic business plan
- Understanding business category, parameters, KPI’s and trends to coherently advice on HR interventions
- Contributing to the development of HR policies and processes in line with strategic direction, values and styles
- Providing key contribution to the development of site culture which incorporates and promotes the Company’s core values and continuous improvement
- Providing general human resource management advice on Company policy and procedure, employment law and best practice
- Assisting when required with interviews up to and including Senior Management level
- Ensuring that all recruitment paperwork, requisitions, job profiles etc are completed correctly and authorised prior to processing
- Promoting and encouraging a positive approach to performance management and employee relations
- Supporting the Annual Review process throughout the business
- Contributing to agreed staff and management training programmes
- Supporting the delivery of training programmes when required
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience of working as a Recruitment Partner and/or Business Partner with a heavy emphasis on recruitment in a fast paced, commercial environment
- CIPD Member or equivalent experience or a Degree in HR Management
- Ability to translate hard data and interpret trends to challenge business decisions
- Experienced in the use of using social media recruitment advertising tools and techniques
- Experienced in core HR activities such as discipline and grievance, contracts, HR policies and procedures etc
- Ability to deal with sensitive situations in a calm and diplomatic manner, maintaining strict confidentiality
- Previous experience of using HR Systems and computerised applicant tracking systems
- Experience collating statistics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Influencing skills, confident – ability to work effectively at all levels within the business
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
