The Role of Assistant Director of Human Resources:

We currently have an opportunity for an Assistant Director of Human Resources to join our team in Venice, Italy! 

This role reports to the Director of Human Resources and will be responsible for supporting the Human Resources strategy and execution and the day-to-day running of the Human Resources function; providing Human Resources and Learning support with the overall goal being that the hotel is perceived as the Employer of Choice in Venice.

Your responsibilities will include championing top talent and actively supporting succession planning, supporting the hotel as a Business Partner, fostering relationships with others as a coach, supporting and driving Human Resources and Learning initiatives, employee counseling, managing the financials of the budget, conducting regular audits of Human Resources records, organizing and supervising all employee recreation programs, actively supporting recruitment, selection, onboarding requirements, evaluating the effectiveness of Human Resources and Learning programs and initiatives and analyzing compensation and benefits trends to ensure a balance between cost and employee experience.

Our Ideal Assistant Director of Human Resources candidate will have:

3 to 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Manager or above, preferably with a luxury Hospitality brand, strong working knowledge of Italian labor law, and fluency in English and Italian.
